Web design for local service businesses

Turn local searches into calls, quotes and booked jobs.

We build and run the website. You answer the phone. Every page is shaped around the one thing a service business needs from the internet: more of the right people getting in touch.

Selected work

Built around the business, not dropped into a generic template.

Three recent builds, and what actually changed in each one. Every site starts from the company’s own services, reviews, photos and local market rather than a layout waiting to be filled in.

Heckman Mow & Go

The problem
Three different businesses were operating under one name, and nothing online said which one you were looking at. A customer searching for a dumpster and a customer searching for weekly mowing landed in the same undifferentiated place, and neither could tell whether the company covered their town.
What we changed
We led the homepage with lawn care, the service that brings in the most work, and gave each of the seven service lines its own page so every job type has somewhere to rank and convert. Seven town pages now state the service area in plain terms. The hero runs real drone footage of the crews and equipment instead of stock imagery, and tap-to-call stays within reach on every screen.

Rinse & Shine

The problem
The existing site had been padded out with near-identical pages for dozens of nearby cities, the kind of thin duplicate content Google treats as a doorway page. Rebuilding carelessly would have thrown away the rankings the business already had.
What we changed
We kept the old URL structure intact so existing search equity carried straight over to the new site, then replaced the duplicate city pages with genuine service content that explains the difference between pressure and soft washing and what each surface needs. The reviews section was left empty rather than filled with anything we could not verify.

Dependo Rent-All

The problem
For a rental yard the catalog is the product, but the equipment was buried. Someone who needed a trencher on Saturday morning had no quick way to confirm the yard carried one, let alone ask what it costs.
What we changed
We rebuilt the catalog as scannable equipment cards grouped by job, so a contractor can find the right machine in a couple of taps rather than reading a price list. Each item carries its own quote request, which turns a browsing visit into a specific enquiry the yard can answer.

The range we build across

Concept builds showing how the same conversion structure adapts to different trades.

Why our websites generate business

Customers decide in about five seconds. We build for that moment.

Almost everyone who hears about your business looks you up before they call. That search is where the job is won or lost. Four things decide it, and every website we build is constructed around them.

01

They have to trust you

An outdated site, or a Facebook page standing in for one, makes an established business look smaller than it is.

What we build Your real work, your real reviews and your own project photos, laid out as proof. Never stock images passed off as your jobs.

02

They have to understand you

If your services and service area are unclear, a customer cannot tell whether you are the right fit, so they keep looking.

What we build Plain language on what you do, where you do it and who it is for, written for your trade rather than dropped into a template.

03

They have to reach you easily

Most of them are on a phone, and every extra step between interest and contact is another chance to leave.

What we build Tap-to-call in reach at all times, one clear next step per screen, and a short quote form that actually lands in your inbox.

04

It has to stay live and current

A site that is slow, broken or two seasons out of date costs you the same customers a missing one would.

What we build We host it, monitor it, keep it secure and update your services, prices and photos as the business changes.

“These people clearly do what I need, they look legitimate, they work in my area, and it is easy to contact them.”

The judgment a visitor makes before they scroll

How it works

We do the heavy lifting. You approve the direction.

Four steps, no jargon and no chasing. You hand over the business details once, approve a direction, and we take it from there, through launch and every month after.

01 Audit

We look at what you have

We review your current online presence, services, customers, reviews and conversion gaps, then tell you where trust is leaking.

02 Build

We create the direction

We design a custom website around your business and the one action you want customers to take.

03 Refine

You give focused feedback

Two included revision rounds. You send consolidated notes, we make the site accurate to how you actually operate.

04 Launch & manage

We put it live and keep it running

We connect the domain, test every button and form, launch the site, then host, monitor and update it month to month.

Plans & investment

Website packages built around your business goals.

A traditional agency build can take months and cost thousands before anything goes live. A cheap template goes up in a day, then fails to say what makes your business worth choosing. We sit in between: a streamlined build system, with the strategy, copy and proof written around your actual business. Whether you are just getting started or ready to scale, one of these will fit.

Common questions

Straight answers before you spend anything.

No. We work with businesses that have no website at all, as well as companies whose current site needs rebuilding. If you already have one, the question is whether it clearly communicates your services and turns mobile visitors into calls or quote requests. We will tell you honestly if it already does.

Probably more than you think. A website converts the people who look you up after they see the Facebook page, the referral, the truck or the yard sign. That search is the step where they decide you are legitimate.

You provide accurate business information and focused approval on the draft. We handle strategy, copy, build, launch, hosting and support. Most owners spend under an hour of real work on it.

No honest provider can guarantee traffic or sales, and we will not pretend otherwise. What a well-built website does is convert more of the attention your business already receives, and stop losing the customers who are looking you up right now.

Once we have the required business information and assets, the first draft is typically ready within three business days. Most standard websites launch within five to seven business days, depending on your feedback and domain access.

On every plan: hosting, technical maintenance, security and uptime monitoring, form checks, ongoing support and minor content updates: text changes, new photos, updated services or contact details. On Growth it also covers the ongoing SEO work.

Yes. Your business should own and control its domain. We connect and manage it for the website as part of the service, and ownership terms are written into the agreement rather than left as an assumption.

Yes, and we prefer it. We organize verified reviews and your own project photos into a stronger trust and portfolio experience. We never present stock images as your completed work.

Every build includes a solid technical and local search foundation: page titles and descriptions, proper heading structure, image alt text, mobile-friendly layout and local service-area language. Ongoing SEO work is part of the Growth plan; on Launch it is available as an add-on. Either way, no honest provider can guarantee a specific Google position.

Yes. Minor content updates are included in the monthly plan. Larger additions, redesigns, new pages and advanced integrations are quoted separately so the monthly price stays predictable.

Hosting, maintenance and support continue through the paid billing period. Domain ownership remains with your business, and website transfer options can be discussed when technically available.
